Yesterday, I had an appointment with a new doctor.

Being the terminally early sort, I showed up at the doctors office 10 minutes early for a 1:00 appointment.

After waiting just a brief time, until the top of the hour, I was escorted into the examination room. The medical technician asked why I was there, took a blood pressure reading, and said, as she closed the door behind her, “the doctor will be in shortly”.
